Ingredients

1 pkt (500g) GOLDEN CLOUD BRAN MUFFIN MIX 
125ml (½ cup) muesli
125ml (½ cup) chopped nuts or seeds
125ml (½ cup) cranberries or raisins
125g (125 ml) melted butter
190ml ( 2/3 cup) buttermilk
1 egg

 

 

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C. Grease a 20 X 20 square baking tin.
  2. Combine Golden Cloud Bran muffin mix with the muesli, nuts / seeds and cranberries / raisins.
  3. Whisk in melted butter, buttermilk and egg. Add to the dry ingredients, mix well to form a stiff mixture that holds its shape well.
  4. Press into loaf tins and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before turning the loaves out and slicing into fingers. 
  6. Arrange on a baking tray and dry in a low oven at 60 °C for about 6 hours. Once completely cool, store in an airtight container.
